Woke up damn early and set off to SIM GE @ 100 Ulu Pandan Road for my orientation. It was outdoors.... Though the sun was blazing hot, I definitely enjoyed the time spent with my new classmates. Most of the games were based on teamwork. The ocean version of "Eagle and Hen", everyone holding a rope to exercise (which led me to no choice but to exercise because everyone moves the rope so you're like being controlled), mass scissors paper stone, aye aye caption and captain's ball. Meet my first friend, Altricia (the girl who approached me on the first day of our orientation at SIM HQ.
I must say that there's lots of international students in this course. Russian, China, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Korea, Japan and many more...... I hope this will be an eye opener for me to learn about the different cultures and all. I am slowly opening up myself to adapt to the new environment. But to be honest, nothing feels like home (back in Dunman). I really feel super comfortable with my friends from Dunman. Especially Vivien, Shiqing, Yongxin, Yuettung, Teresa and Emmeline. I feel the most comfortable talking to them because I know they won't judge me and will even support me in whatever I do. Yup, this includes Vanessa, purplepaus and the band mates too. Maybe its just the beginning... hopefully I will feel more comfortable sooner or later.
I have one week to recharge myself before hell begins. My lectures are from 8.30am to 11.30am every single day from Monday to Saturday....... Gonna be waking up so damnnnn early just to travel to school but on a brighter note, it ends earlier (if only I don't have to stay back to do projects but what are the chances man) This course is all about hard work, studying, projects.... I CAN DO THIS!! I need to be very focused for the next 15 months and i'm sure hard work will be paid off. Go me~
