Hello everyone!!! Just gonna update before my hectic schedule starts since exam is just two weeks away. I've never felt more unorganized in my school life. I have so many plans in my head to execute but I have to put them on hold because of time, money and the company I wanna do with.
Here goes my (two) weekends ago spent with the kuzzies
Day 1 (Friday, 26th July):
Headed over to DTE at about 4+ to meet Row and her family for grocery shopping!! The kuzzies and her family were gonna have a private BBQ party to kick start the birthday weekend. Mmmmmmmm the BBQ marinated food were damn yumz because it was seasoned by Aunty Lucy (Row's mom) and Lak Kor (Mar's mom). Favourite food was the pork chop!!! Gobbled down countless of pieces and I felt very very very very depressed when I was told that we ran out of it :'( I can still vividly remember the taste of the pork chop as I type this. Sadly, none of us took any pictures as we were busy eating hehe
All of us, except my bro, clauds and yichun stayed over. They left pretty late though. If you are following my youtube account, you would have known that my bro and I prepared games to make the night even more fun!
Trailer
Revealing of the group members. RED VS BLUE. Initially Yichun wasn't coming so we didn't include him. But in the end, Claire didn't come so Yichun took over her place.
Hahahah lots of unglams coming up.
This is the first game that we played. If you're a fan of Running Man, I will get what game is this! Basically, the camera will be placed on a tripod and at different angles. The camera would be on self timer and it will be a few shots. So, we had different poses to do. The two groups will send an equal number of members out to compete. The objective of the game is to be in the frame, block the opponent and pose. The person who appears in the frame and does the pose earns a point for the group. Hahahah all of us really had loooooots of fun playing this game. I swear we were all dan excited and competitive to the extend that we smack each other, screamed and shouted... Soooo difficult to control ourselves. By the time the game ended we were sweating like mad.
The other game with played was ping pong soccer. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures. The game went like this. We used plastic cups as the goal post, and one member from each team will compete. We had to score goals within a time limit. Another game that make us damn excited and all. Damn tiring also? All of us experienced dizziness after our turns and our saliva was all over the place including the faces, hands and table. Y U C K S!!
The third game, running man, didn't happen because the it was already damn late. Plus, the floor was all wet due to the rain which lasted on and off the entire day. We were all exhausted by the time we ended the two games also. Yup, I printed and laminated the name tags and I even bought bells. Nonetheless, we did a "lucky draw" to see who will be coupled with who, and who are the two catches. We will play this game soon!!! Sigh really such a pity leh, it would have been damn fun and all since the entire chalet area is damn big???? We then took turns to washed up and embraced ourselves for day 2 which would be even more tiring. Row, Shawn and I shared a room while Reg, Mar, Hanbin and Char shared the other room.
Day 2 (Saturday, 27th July):
Woke up as early as 9+, watched Pokemon and Mobbed with the kuzzies while we wait for our Macs breakfast~ Began to set up everything, which is the photobooth area. We have already set up the backdrop and the "candy shop" a day back but there was stillllll lots of work to do. We also had to go out to E!Hub to pump the balloons and all..
:') all our hard work
All of us went to wash up before the guests started to arrive!
Pretty much sums up the party night. We were all dead beat by the end of the day because of the few hours of sleep we had the day before.... Cleared up and we stayed another night! After clearing up, we bonded quite a bit and played with helium which was hilarious. I am so lazy to upload the videos now so please have patience. Good things come to those who wait right? 8)
Day 3 (Sunday, 28th July):
We slept for barely 4 hours before we woke up to pack up and check out of the chalet. We headed down to Wild Wild Wet as early as 10am. The main objective of us going early is to avoid the crowd so that we need not queue up? But... wild wild wet is like a dead town. I guess everyone prefers going to the newly opened Adventure Cove and RWS instead. It is actually a good thing also? I remember I had to queue for more than 30mins for each slide....... but now that the crowd is gone, we are able to get on the slides as soon as we reach the starting point. It has been YEARS since I last went to www man!! Anyway, we lazed around the shiok river for a number of rounds, went to the end of tsunami pool to enjoy the wave (which was tiring), sat the family ride which was dangerously fast because of the weight, ran towards the yakult pail and regret when it pours because the pressure made it damn pain, sat the Uslide which I almost cried I don't know why and took torpedo, which was the highlight!!!
The video doesn't seem as scary. Trust me it was DAMN SCARY. I was actually contemplating to take this ride, but I decided to give it a try since I already paid so much to go in right. i am proud to say that I HAVE SURVIVED THE TORPEDO DROP. I actually want to take it again!!!!! N O R E G R E T S B A B Y~ Hahah but only Char, Reg, Mar and I took. Mar: "wtf I thought I was gonna die, felt like I was drowning the moment the flap open". Yup. We were required to be in a locked position where our hands were pointed upwards. We had no chance of wiping the gushing water off our face at all. The time to react was also short because it was damnnnnn fast. By the time I got used to it, the next moment I was at the end of the slide already. Anyway, before we dropped, there would be a 5 seconds countdown where you can hear while you're in the "container". Pretty scary because the platform you are standing on is transparent...... therefore we are able to see the strong water gushing down the steeeeeep slope. Haiyyaaaaa, no regrets, won't die one!! Go take this ride when you go to www!!
We left www at about 4 plus and had chicken rice at E!hub before we headed home. The moment I got home at about 6, I knocked out till the next school morning...... My sunburnt was very badddddddd. I don't mind the pain but definitely not the itch. I was suffering from the itch on Tuesday. It was really unbearable la. Cannot scratch cos it will be damn pain, as though something is biting into your skin. And you can't apply any cream, if not the "rash" will get worst????? Couldn't wipe after a shower too, just had to gently dap it. Thank god that the itch only lasted for a day. My burnt isn't totally healed yet because it is still peeeeeeelingggggggggggg.
Wowow this is a looooong post. Heh I noticed that when I update, I would update with long ass posts. I AM SORRY!!!! Boohoootooo, the looooong 4 days weekend has come to an end. Gonna embrace myself for the following two/three weeks. On a brighter note, this week is the last week of school, study break next week, exams for 2 days the week after and helloooooooooo to the one month of sem break. BKK again!! Hardwell at the end of Sept, and I CAN'T WAIT FOR ZOUK OUT AT THE END OF THE YEAR!!!! I am also praying that I'll win tickets to see Kwangsoo on Saturday and SHINee the following Tuesday. Wish me luck xx
