Back with another post but this will be only about what I did on my second day in Gold Coast. As the title and picture above suggest, yupppp we went to movie world! The first and only time I visited this place was when I was 3 or 4? So I obviously cannot remember anything but according to my family, it was a huge disappointment. I was kinda disappointed too. The rides weren't very thrilling/ challenging. However The Superman Escape roller coaster was damn good!! Best roller coast i've taken so far. Even The Hulk one at Universal Studio Florida has become second on my list. There's was another roller coaster (Arkham Asylum) which I heard it was good too but it was under maintenance booooo. Another reason why I was disappointed was because the size of the park was smaller than Singapore's Universal Studio? The parade sucked too. It was just a mere 5-8 mins parade..... It was just a parade along the main street and there wasn't many characters. Oh yes, a theme park is supposed to be like a circle right? Usually when you go to different "themes" around the park, it will eventually connect to and lead you to another place. But nope, movie world was a mess. So many dead ends and all. Sigh, maybe it was under maintenance and that new attractions were being constructed or something? I prefer Dream World but i'll save that for another post. I had fun nonetheless, i'll let the pictures to the talking!
Heading down to have breakfast!
The first ride we took the moment we stepped into the park and my mother got cheated by us to take this... "I almost died" -Mom after the roller coaster. But mehhhhhhh.
Yay we conquered this!!!!!!!! If you've watched part 1 of my vlog, there's a clip of this roller coaster with us on it. It doesn't seem very fast but woah it was damn fast... especially when it shoots out.
While waiting for the Scooby Doo Spooky coaster and we got photobombed LOL The roller coaster was very much like Escape Theme Park's Panasonic (which I almost flew out and die).
Quite sad that the batman photo taking sesh was over by the time we went to the place...
Bought the Wonder Woman cape for AUD $10. Heeehee couldn't resist. There were other super heroes like superman, batman and all. After all you're at a theme park right... like when you're at Disneyland you'd buy the Minnie Mouse ears or other hats to wear. Momsy bought the Bugs Bunny ears! Theme parks bring the kid out in us.
Korean BBQ buffet for dinz, opened by Koreans (at 4PM SG's time/ 6PM Brisbane's time) just located at the 5th floor of our hotel. They serve ala cart Korean food too but didn't get to try because pork belly overload!!!!!! They were so hospitable too and they were shocked when I said kamsahaminda when they keep attending to us hahaha. I't felt like 8PM though. The sun sets about 4.30PM/ 5PM because it was winterrrrrrrrrr. Baskin' Robbins after dinner too hehehehehe. It was so cheap. Had churros or baskin' robbins or max brennar after dinz almost everyday #fatty
This concludes the end of my post for day 2!
