Yup, I am finally gonna blog about Jay Chou's concert which took place last weekend! Singapore has three days, which started on Thursday night. I attended the concert on Friday and Saturday and both days were as amazing. Though I attended the concert on Friday, I was still overwhelmed on Saturday despite the fact that the line-up was the same (Besides the fact that Jay sang two extra songs. Well, it was the last night for Singapore so he has to make it special right?) However, the following pictures are just gonna be the ones I took on Friday because I brought my DSLR... and since I went alone on Saturday I just soaked myself in the atmosphere.
Attended the concert together with See Ting and Yi Xiang, whom were as enthu as I was. Thank you for being such a good company along side with Jay. Can't wait to attend all the future Jay concerts with you guys.
Our seats were damn awesome? When we were ushered to our seats, we were like "OMG we are in smacked right in the middle and we are damn close???" *fangirl screams*
The super excited fangirls!!!! We were seriously super duper extremely excited even before the concert day. On the day itself, the fangirl enthusiasm become worst and it exploded the moment we entered the stadium.
The stadium became super dark and the VCR on the screen started playing. Definitely the whole stadium was echoed by screams BUT look at how pretty the sea of pink lights is! :'-)
The moment Jay appeared on stage and his voice being amplified through the sound system, I could already feel my eyes turn water. The fangirl side of me sang along and screamed like some crazy girl. HIS ABS WERE DAMN WAHHHHH *_* I WANT TO TOUCH AND LICK THEM YUMZZZZ. The opening was already damn good and the audiences were super high. I was feeling even more excited for the entire concert.
After three songs he talked to us! Wah really damn proud because I understood what he said? My chinese not so fail what hor. Plus plus plus you know i've been attending concerts but its all in Korean. I can't comprehend what they are saying directly from them, unless there's a translator. Kinda shitty because you cannot react immediately, if you get what I mean.... (haiya I went to Jay's concert back in 2010 also.. I understood what he said that time also ok!)
Jay also gave us a sneak preview on his movie titled The RoofTop, which will be shown in cinemas on 11 July. The movie looks very promising!!!!!! Very musical-ish. So proud of him. Jay directed the movie and even acts in it.
LOVE THIS SEGMENT. "Raindrops" start to "pour" down as Jay sang the theme song for the new movie, 哪裡都是你~ T_T
SHO HAMSUM. Jay played the guitar as he sang songs from Initial D, The Secret... I admit drop of tears came rolling out from my eyes, but it wasn't those jialat crying (yet LOL).
Mine mine, 明明就, 安静 and 世界末日!!! I cried silently in my heart. It was super shiok because everyone sang together so it felt like some mass KTV session.

My fav fav fav fav part of the concert where he played a medley of 彩虹/轨迹/牛仔很忙/回到过去/晴天/完美主义!! 帅死了~ Perfect boyfriend/husband. Mad talented!!! Jay also said : "你们知道为什么我要健身吗？因为我不要别人以为你们的偶像是叔叔" FREAKING CUTE
And it was time for encore... WHAT?? ENDING ALREADY? Y SO FAST

And we thought after the first encore it was really the end?? But Jay's drummer started the hype again by hitting to the beat of Jay's chinese name. Like you know one word for one drum beat!! SOOOO, Jay appeared again with the song 烏克麗麗! I SWEAR IT WAS DAMN FUN. Huge beach balls suddenly appeared from the back for the people at the premium area to have fun. I was so excited and I think it brought back the 5 years old kid in me. So honoured to be part of the premium area to enjoy this kind of stuff 8)
After that, we thought it was the end of the concert and I felt super upset. Like why I wait so long for the concert then so fast end??? BUT, Jay suddenly appeared again to thank his musicians and then asked the keyboard player to sing 龙卷风!! Wah really broke down and sing along at the same time.
Suddenly, the musicians played 屋顶!! OMG???? Jay's shimei came out to duet with him. I remember Jay saying that those couples in the house can sing together if not the single fans can duet with him. SO ROMANTIC PLS. The whole stadium literally sang during the female's part and just listened to Jay singing the male's part. It was really damn shuang cos it felt like I really duet with him (though I wish that I was on stage with him la..) This song was really the last song of the entire concert..... SIGHHHH
See Ting and I were definitely satisfied with the concert!!! WORTH THE MONEY SPENT MAN. So glad we managed to get the tickets~

It was truly a magical and nostalgic night (as well as the Saturday's concert) where he sang songs from his old albums. Love it when he plays the piano/guitar and sing at the same time!! I NEED MORE!!!
