I didn't take any pictures of the living room/ master bedroom because I took videos and you'll be able to see the layout in the vlog. Anyway when I wanted to take the pictures, the entire area was already messed up hahhaa! It's a pity that I didn't even catch a glimpse of the rooftop because the sun was scorching hot. I am so lazy to source for pictures online so just check out my vlog okie? But, of cos, I did not miss out taking our private infinity pool! No floats/ beach ball/ bubbles were provided. We bought it from TOYSRUS in SG and brought it over. A total amount of $55 was spent on these items:
- 2 ring doughnuts
- long "bed"
- a set of bubbles and an extra bottle of bubble solution
Before the fun began, we had to request some stuffs from the reception. Items included:
The villa provided:
Here are some shots of my cousins and I before we went into the pool to just nua.
- can opener (because we bought luncheon meat)
- wine opener (for the wine we bought during duty free)
- washing detergent and sponge
- more bath towels
The villa provided:
- cutleries/ utensils which came in sets of 4
- fridge (which wasn't even cold)
- 4 bath towels
- pan, pots, kettle and a microwave oven
- apple speaker dock (for the old charging port)
- TV
- Wii with two games provided

The view when the sun was setting was picturesque. Glad that I manage to snap some selfies of myself with the sun setting as the background. Almost forgot because we were already busy cooking/ BBQ-ing by then…. but I was outside at the BBQ pit so yup.
As I have mentioned in my previous post (here), I wouldn't recommend you to purchase the food for BBQ from the hypermart there. The selections were limited and the taste isn't any to our likings at all. We just grabbed some frozen chicken (like those drumlet kind), luncheon meat, hot dogs (eeee), crab sticks/c claw to BBQ. To avoid any disappointments, please bring your own food over from Singapore. Perhaps you can just buy IndoMie from their hypermart \m/ and also drinks. Do not worry about the BBQ pit because it is available in the mart. You can just purchase the pit for about SGD $10. Cheap right! You won't even feel the pinch to just leave it there and let the staff dispose it.. I have also read tips from other travellers who visited Montigo that you can hire a chef to BBQ for you but per pax is something like SGD $30 excluding the BBQ pit set up. But yup, we spent a grand total of SGD $100+ for food, drinks and BBQ necessities. We over bought though haahah we thought we'd eat a lot…. but we were quite full. Maybe we drank the water from our pool and that made us full? Nahhhh kidding.
Just some selfies… played mother hen and chicks in the pool which was super violent hahaha. We were damn noisy and excited #childhoodgame, and then we lazed around in the pool for awhile before washing up and then moved on to play some drinking games because we bought some alcohol from the duty free at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. I was pretty much brain dead after we washed up because I didn't sleep the night before…… I woke up at 3PM for Disney On Ice and you all know that my body clock is damn screwed up. I sleep only when the sun rises and wake up when the sun sets. Yeah, I was awake all the time from Friday 3PM till Sunday 1AM or was it 2 or 3 AM…. Been quite awhile since I was awake for so long.
Thats all for day 1 of my Montigo trip. Part 3 will include more visuals. Heh please anticipate!!! I'll try to draft out the post for part 3 as soon as I can. It took me so long just for one post.
